Vital Doctors Medical Equipment has a Certified Caregiving Advocate available to support patients and caregivers with the following:
- Discuss your prescribed equipment needs and available options
- Explain the general steps required to obtain durable medical equipment
- Coordinate with your physician or referral office to request orders and supporting medical records
- Verify insurance eligibility and available benefits
- Help identify documentation or prior-authorization requirements
- Explain estimated deductibles, coinsurance, and other potential out-of-pocket costs
- Provide updates on the status of your equipment request
- Coordinate delivery, setup, and equipment-use instructions
- Answer questions and connect you with the appropriate member of our team
Our goal is to help you understand what is needed, keep the process moving, and make informed decisions about your care and equipment.

Vital Doctors Medical Equipment is proud to be a Medicare-enrolled DMEPOS supplier and an authorized provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX). We work directly with your insurance whenever possible to verify eligibility, benefits, deductibles, coinsurance, and any prior authorization requirements before providing equipment. Additional insurance contracts are currently in the credentialing process, and we look forward to expanding the plans we accept. For patients without insurance coverage or those who prefer not to use their insurance benefits, we offer competitive private pay pricing. We also provide CareCredit® financing for qualified applicants, making it easier to obtain the medical equipment you need with flexible payment options.
